Jubilee Insurance has committed Ksh3 million via its Maisha FiTi product portfolio to support medical resource mobilization through The One-Stop Shop Pharmacy during the 2019 Beyond Zero Half Marathon, an event focused on advancing maternal health initiatives.

The insurer participated in the Nyayo National Stadium event, which drew over 20,000 runners advocating for improved women's health, children's welfare, and disability support. Proceeds from the marathon will fund programs addressing maternal mortality and healthcare access challenges.

Dr. Julius Kipng’etich, Jubilee Insurance's Regional CEO, emphasized the company's role in reducing preventable diseases through partnerships. 'The run provided an opportunity to explore enhanced product offerings and engage with Kenyans on a shared health agenda,' he said, highlighting collaborations to advance the government's Universal Health Coverage program.

The CEO noted the event's significance in fostering national wellness through corporate and public participation, with the marathon's proceeds targeting women's health, children's welfare, and support for people with disabilities.
