Law enforcement officials from the Flying Squad conducted a raid on Saturday night, shutting down Two Cousins Distillers Limited and Munene Industries after uncovering evidence of tax evasion and illicit activities.

The operation followed the arrest of a driver transporting suspected contraband to Karuri in Kiambu County. Police seized drums of ethanol, cartons of Trace Vodka, and incriminating documents during the raids. Authorities are now pursuing the companies' directors, who remain at large.
