Lands Cabinet Secretary Farida Karoney praised developers for adopting modern approaches in the construction sector, specifically highlighting the Nyali Golf View Residence. The 13-storey mixed-use facility, built on a single acre plot, exemplifies efficient land use amid rising urban demand, she noted.

"I highly appreciate what I have seen and sampled at the Nyali Golf View Residence," Karoney said, urging greater investment in high-rise structures. The project, which began construction in August 2013, was completed earlier this year.

Kenya Coast Tourist Association CEO Julius Owino echoed the sentiment, calling the serviced apartments a viable alternative to traditional hotels. He emphasized their potential to enhance tourist comfort while addressing space constraints in urban areas.
