On July 31, 2019, US-based activist Mange Kimambi announced that she was taking a break from social media, citing a need to cure depression and diarrhea.
However, her decision was met with a sharp response from Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan, who took to social media to express her thoughts on the matter.
“Hey guys, I’m taking some time off social media. I will be back though,” Mange Kimambi had announced in her post.
But Zari Hassan was not having it, and she fired back with a post of her own, saying that Mange had been busy following up on other people’s lives, forgetting that she had a life to live.
“Taking off time to cure some depression and diarrhea she has been having. Mwambie akiitahi anything she should reach out. We are here if she needs help. Mtu unaumwa kichwa juu ya maisha ya watu mpaka unasahau maisha yako kabisa. Struuuuuuuu, u need some rest sending you love and prayers,” Zari Hassan said in her response.
This is not the first time the two have been embroiled in a bitter fight online, with their previous feud being over Zari’s kids with Tanzanian singer Diamond.
