Reuben Ndolo's ZOEZI mtaani initiative has gained significant traction in Nairobi, with its fourth edition emphasizing community health and youth empowerment. The event, held at Uhuru Sports Complex in March 2019, aims to promote physical fitness while addressing substance abuse among young people.

Ndolo, former Makadara MP, linked the initiative to the Building Bridges framework, a program fostering intercommunity relations following the 2017 Handshake deal between President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga. The campaign prioritizes gender respect and youth inclusion, with plans to expand to other counties after completing Nairobi outreach.

The latest edition coincided with the Handshake anniversary, reinforcing its core objectives of social cohesion and preventive youth engagement. Organizers highlighted the initiative's role in maintaining public health and strengthening neighborhood ties through structured fitness activities.
