Kean opened the scoring by converting Alex Sandro's cross and added a second after a solo run into the box. He also earned a penalty, which Emre Can converted, before Blaise Matuidi headed in a third goal. Udinese's Kevin Lasagna scored a consolation goal.
This marked Kean's seventh Serie A goal of the season, following his lone league start for Juventus in 2017. The 19-year-old, who earned one cap for Italy, spent last season on loan at Verona.
This was the first time this season that Ronaldo was not selected for a Juventus match.
Since relocating to the Allianz Stadium in 2011, Juventus has claimed seven consecutive Serie A titles. They currently lead Napoli by 19 points, with the latter set to face Sassuolo on Sunday.
Udinese introduced England Under-20 midfielder Ben Wilmot, a January loan acquisition from Watford, though he was substituted at halftime.
In other developments, Claudio Ranieri was appointed as Roma's interim manager until the season's end. The 67-year-old, previously dismissed by Fulham after three wins in 17 games, returns to Roma, where he previously managed from 2009 to 2011.
