The Namaskar Africa forum, a two-day business event organized with support from Kenya and India's governments, will begin at Nairobi's Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Monday. The initiative aims to highlight East Africa's economic potential and strengthen commercial relationships between Indian and regional businesses.

"India has a long-standing relationship with the region. The exports and investments into this sub-region are picking up, and this initiative aims to enhance and diversify Indian industries engagement in this region,"

A statement from the Indian High Commission emphasized East Africa's status as the fastest-growing region on the continent. The forum will feature discussions on trade opportunities and investment strategies to deepen economic collaboration between India and East African nations.
