On July 31, 2019, Wazito FC, a newcomer to the Kenyan Premier League, made a significant move by signing Mansoor Safi Agu, a skilled Ugandan attacking midfielder.
Agu, who was a student at Kubuli Secondary School in Kampala City, has already gained experience playing for the under 17 and under 20 Uganda national teams, as well as for Kyebando FC and Macikz FC in Uganda.
Wazito FC's Sporting Director, Solomon Alubala, expressed the team's confidence in young players like Agu, who he believes hold the future of the club. 'Mansoor is a fantastic player. At his age, he has unique abilities and focus that will take him far. We are happy that he chose us to formally launch his professional career after High School', he said.
As part of their commitment to nurturing young talent, Wazito FC plans to provide Agu with the necessary support to help him play his best football.
