The 2019 Top Fry Rally, which kicked off on August 1st from the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club in Nanyuki, promises to be an exciting event with 21 rally cars participating in the three-day competition.
The drivers will brave the storm and navigate through the challenging terrain of Laikipia County, covering an average of 250 kilometers per day.
Among the top contenders is Baldev Chager, the 2019 WRC Candidate Safari Rally winner and multiple Kenyan champion, who will be racing for the Kabras Racing Team in a sleek Porsche Carrera 911.
Chager will face stiff competition from Ian Duncan, a multiple East African Safari Classic Rally champion, who will be navigating the rocky Laikipia Terrain in a classic Ford Mustang.
Another serious challenger is Carl 'Flash' Tundo, a four-time Kenya National Rally champion, who will be piloting a beautiful white and orange Triumph TR7.
