Award-winning gospel singer Size 8 has publicly defended DK Kwenye Beat and Hopekid following allegations that they coerced a 20-year-old Nakuru college student into a threesome and infected her with a sexually transmitted disease.
During an interview with KTN, Size 8 cited biblical principles to justify her stance, stating, "The Bible says if you repent your sins, God is faithful and just to forgive you." She referenced the story of the woman caught in adultery, arguing that societal judgment often prioritizes the law of Moses over divine mercy.
"It was ungodly for me to throw stones at him," she said. "I don't advocate for sin, but I believe God's love is sufficient." However, she later removed social media posts supporting DK Kwenye Beat's apology after facing online backlash.
The controversy escalated when an audio recording surfaced showing DK Kwenye Beat and Hopekid mocking the victim. Size 8 confirmed she had contacted the woman, stating, "She is in great pain, but she felt the love of Jesus Christ after our conversation." She emphasized the victim's decision to share her story as a warning to others rather than an act of bitterness.
The singer also addressed critics, urging, "Stop judging people without knowing their past. She is now focused on becoming a humanitarian and counselor." Despite her initial defense, Size 8 ultimately deleted all supportive content related to the scandal.
