Law enforcement in Baringo County has initiated a manhunt for a middle-aged man allegedly sexually abusing his three daughters following his wife's departure from their home last year.
The suspect, from Kapkiamo village, is accused of exploiting his position of care to repeatedly assault the minors over a 12-month period. His wife, who had endured 18 years of domestic conflict, left the household after facing repeated threats of violence, according to her statements.
Deputy County Commissioner Obwoch Bobwocha revealed that investigators discovered the accused sharing a bed with all three children, leading to the allegations of prolonged abuse. Police have confirmed they are actively seeking the suspect, with Bobwocha stating he "will face the full force of the law" upon arrest.
County Children’s Coordinator Otijom Omutse emphasized the department’s involvement in supporting the victims while warning against parental abuse. "The law will not tolerate such violations," Omutse asserted, highlighting the seriousness of the case.
