Security experts identify two Kenyan figures as potential targets: Deputy President William Ruto and Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko. Both have clashed with the Mount Kenya Mafia, with Sonko notably resisting attempts to install a deputy and challenging the group's influence.
