July 31, 2019, marked a significant development in the tech world as rumors surrounding the Xiaomi Pocophone F2 began to surface. The device, which is the successor to the Pocophone F1, has been making waves in the tech community with its alleged features and design.

According to reports, the Pocophone F2 will come equipped with an AMOLED display screen, a significant upgrade from the LCD panel found in its predecessor. This move is not surprising, given the increasing number of Xiaomi phones that feature AMOLED panels.

As reported by Tech Auntyji on Twitter, the Poco F2 exists and features an AMOLED display. While the exact details of the device remain scarce, the leak of a screen protector has provided a glimpse into the expected design of the panel.

The leaked screen protector reveals an Infinity-U design with a tiny bezel at the bottom end. This design is a significant departure from the Pocophone F1's design, which featured a more traditional bezel-less display.

Despite the progress made in the development of the Pocophone F2, Xiaomi India head of marketing Anuj Sharma recently revealed that the company may take some time before the F2 arrives. According to Sharma, the focus is still on the Poco F1, and the company's small size means that the F2 is not a priority at the moment.

However, the existence of the Pocophone F2 has been confirmed through benchmarks powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 4GB RAM, and Android Q. These specs are expected to be featured on the F2 when it arrives.

The Pocophone F1 launched in August 2018, and it is not surprising that stories of its successor are now gaining momentum. With the leak of the screen protector, the anticipation for the Pocophone F2 has reached new heights.
