Huawei's Y6 2019 smartphone is set to enter the Kenyan market through a promotional campaign running from March 5 to 11, inviting consumers to guess its price and win prizes. The initiative follows the strong performance of the Y7 Prime 2019, which achieved over 5,000 sales within its first month on sale.

The Y6 2019 joins the Y series lineup, which includes models like the Y7 Prime 2019 priced at Kshs 17,999 and the Y5 Lite below Kshs 10,000. The device will be available through Kilimall, where participants can engage in the price-guessing activity to claim rewards.

Steven Li, Huawei's Eastern Africa Mobile head, highlighted the campaign's excitement, stating, "Everyone can now take part in the price guessing activity, with lucky winners receiving gifts and prizes. The grand prize includes a free Y6 2019 smartphone."
