Swift emphasized that bullies seek to be feared, saying, 'In my experience, I’ve come to see that bullies want to be feared and taken seriously.' She noted the irony of responding to online harassment with humor, comparing it to 'the Stadium Tour equivalent of responding to a troll’s hateful Instagram comment with 'lol.''
