Four women, including the 28-year-old aunt of 14-year-old Asmahan Abdisalan, have been charged with her murder following a brutal attack in Eastleigh Estate. The suspects allegedly killed the girl in their shared residence before attempting to secretly bury her on February 24.

Police revealed that the victim’s body showed multiple injuries consistent with blunt force trauma, according to an autopsy conducted on March 5. Deputy Directorate of Criminal Investigation official James Koech stated the girl’s head and body sustained severe wounds.

Neighbors reported the girl had been confined to the house for months after ceasing school attendance. Authorities intercepted the body at a South C mosque, where it had been transported in an ambulance and prepared for burial.
