Matiang’i acknowledged the private sector's role as the engine of growth, stating that "the business of government is to support business." He emphasized reducing bureaucratic hurdles, noting that "bureaucracy is the enemy" and that "nothing gets done" when processes become entrenched.
The CS affirmed his committee's commitment to streamlining government operations, with regular meetings aimed at fast-tracking project implementation. He invited Kepsa to collaborate with the Technical Committee to hold officials accountable for delivering agreed actions and measurable impact.
The dialogue reflected ongoing efforts to re-engineer government operations, with participants expressing optimism about achieving productivity gains and fulfilling national development goals.
