Passengers criticized airport staff for lacking clear communication. Susan, another affected traveler, said, "We have just been asked to wait, but we were not told for how long. I came here on time, but I have a toddler who needs to be fed and attended to." Some travelers, like Julius Aweso, explored alternative transport options, including the Standard Gauge Railway, to reach Nairobi.
