Photos of Nicolas Pepe posing in an Arsenal shirt have surfaced on Twitter, seemingly confirming the £72m (Sh9 billion) transfer.
Although neither club has officially announced the deal, it is only a matter of time before an announcement is made, and it could happen as early as tomorrow.
Pepe had been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United before Arsenal emerged as the favourites for his signature.
He is believed to have completed a medical on Tuesday and will likely sign a five-year contract.
The confirmation of the transfer is expected to delight Gunners fans, with Pepe being one of the most sought-after players of the transfer window.

Pepe's arrival will provide a fearsome prospect for Premier League defenders, alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
However, it is unlikely he will sign in time to play a part in Arsenal's pre-season match against Angers on Wednesday.
