The Football Association imposed a two-match touchline suspension and a Ksh1.3m fine on Tottenham's manager, Mauricio Pochettino, following a confrontation with referee Mike Dean after a Premier League game in February.
The sanction stems from an incident during Tottenham's 2-1 loss to Burnley on February 23, when Pochettino's verbal exchange with Dean led to an improper conduct charge. The FA's Independent Regulatory Commission confirmed the penalty after reviewing the incident.
Pochettino will miss Tottenham's matches against Southampton on Saturday and Liverpool on March 31. The Argentine manager acknowledged the breach of conduct and expressed regret to Dean following the altercation.
The decision comes as Tottenham struggles in the Premier League, having dropped eight points in their last three games. The club has not yet commented on the disciplinary action.
