Kenya Air Force personnel have been deployed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to manage operations following a strike by aviation workers.
The walkout, which disrupted flights, stems from opposition to the proposed merger between Kenya Airways and the Kenya Airports Authority.
Earlier, National Youth Service officers were deployed to mitigate flight disruptions. Military personnel are assisting with critical ground operations requiring specialized training.
The merger would see Kenya Airways assume operational control of JKIA.
