Mr. Tolbert Odhiambo's wife, Joy Ouma, has requested intervention from Inspector General Joseph Boinnet following her husband's disappearance on February 7, 2019, while traveling on Limuru Road.

According to Ouma, armed individuals in two vehicles intercepted Odhiambo's car, forced him out, and drove away with him. She described how the perpetrators left the vehicle running in the middle of the road before fleeing the scene.

"We hope to find him alive," Ouma stated, emphasizing that the incident occurred amid witnesses. She revealed that her husband had previously expressed concerns about being followed, though no specific threats were detailed.

Odhiambo, who operates transport ventures and a city-center salon, faced prior legal issues in April 2018 when he was arrested over alleged involvement in a robbery gang targeting residential areas in Nairobi's Kilimani, Kileleshwa, Lavington, Riverside, Muthaiga, and Westlands neighborhoods.
