Dialog Semiconductor anticipates a single-digit percentage revenue decline in 2019 as it finalizes the $600 million transfer of programming assets and patents to Apple, according to a March 2019 report. The company reported a 2% increase in fourth-quarter operating profits amid ongoing restructuring efforts to reduce reliance on Apple, which constitutes 75% of its revenue.

The Anglo-German chip designer initially projected flat 2019 revenues after announcing an October 2018 agreement to divest non-core assets. However, updated forecasts now indicate a revenue contraction, with fourth-quarter results slightly exceeding internal guidance. The company's strategic shift aims to diversify its client base and mitigate risks associated with its heavy dependence on Apple.
