Tanzanian musician Queen Darling has refuted allegations that her brother Diamond Platnumz abandoned their father, Mzee Abdul Naseeb, despite the elder man's public accusations. The 2015 photos circulating online depicting Naseeb in apparent distress were described as misleading by the artist.
Queen Darling, who shares a father with Diamond Platnumz but not a mother, told Wasafi TV that financial assistance from the siblings would never satisfy their father's expectations. 'Baba ni mtu ambaye alikuwa na hela, lakini hela yake mwenyewe kaitumia na imekwisha hata nikampatia ya kwangu haitaweza mtosha,' she stated, emphasizing the family's efforts to maintain contact.
She confirmed the pair regularly check in on their father, noting his current well-being. 'Mzee tunampigia simu na kuzungumza naye mara kwa mara,' she said. Queen Darling also disputed the authenticity of recent images portraying Naseeb in poor health, asserting they originated from 2015. 'Zile picha anaonekana anaumwa nizatoka mwaka 2015,' she added.
