Senior figures from both Kalenjin and Kikuyu communities in Kirwa's Cherangany constituency have reportedly been deployed to persuade him to align with Ruto's camp. The strategy involves positioning Kirwa as a key figure in the Kalenjin diaspora's political calculus, with discussions reportedly centering on his party affiliation.
The maneuver could complicate Musalia Mudavadi's prospects as a potential National Super Alliance (NASA) candidate, as Kirwa and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi have been pivotal in rallying Kalenjin backing for the ANC leader.
