China's top banking regulator stated the country could "absolutely" achieve an agreement with the U.S. on financial sector liberalization, according to remarks made on Tuesday during the annual parliament meeting. Guo Shuqing, chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC), also denied allegations of competitive devaluation of the yuan currency.
