A 25-year-old Nigerian woman was arrested at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on drug trafficking charges after 77 pellets of suspected narcotics were found concealed in milk-filled plastic containers, according to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

DCI officers intercepted Princess Okoye as she prepared to board a flight to Italy. During a routine inspection, investigators discovered the narcotics in the bottles. Under police supervision, she later produced 15 more pellets, the agency reported.

Okoye remains in custody while authorities investigate the case. This arrest follows a separate February 25 seizure of Sh1.5 million worth of heroin at JKIA, where narcotics were hidden inside a generator spare part bound for Guinea.
