Nissan has introduced the Kicks Surf, a concept vehicle tailored for surf enthusiasts, featuring a portable shower system, dedicated storage for boards and wetsuits, and a changing booth. The design incorporates roof crossbars, a rear deck for accessories, and a water-resistant wristband that functions as a key.

Developed with input from Brazilian and Argentine surfing champions Alejo and Santiago Muniz, the vehicle reflects the needs of surfers. John Sahs, Nissan's design lead, emphasized the blue and yellow-green color scheme symbolizing ocean tones and a dynamic aesthetic.

The Kicks Surf is based on Nissan's globally successful Kicks compact crossover, which earned accolades including 2017 SUV of the Year honors from the Inter-American Automobile Journalists Federation and 2018 Texas Truck Rodeo awards in the U.S.
