The media personality recounted that their relationship, which began during high school in 2012, faced challenges due to long-distance dynamics and career commitments. She discovered the marriage after joining Citizen TV in 2016, a career milestone she described as a turning point. "I was deeply affected and struggled with depression for an extended period," Muthengi stated, noting her family found her emotional state perplexing.
