The Africa Volleyball Federation (CAVB) coaching seminar concluded in Nairobi on March 4, 2019, after three days of specialized training sessions at the Leadership Center. The event, backed by KCB Bank Kenya with a Ksh.2 million contribution, brought together 70 coaches from across the continent to refine their expertise in volleyball methodologies.

KCB Group Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Judith Sidi Odhiambo emphasized the importance of implementing seminar techniques to advance volleyball development. 'Mentorship is critical in shaping young athletes into responsible citizens,' she stated, urging participants to apply the training effectively.

FIVB instructor Mauro Berruto highlighted the curriculum's focus on modern coaching strategies, including service techniques, blocking, and defensive systems. The seminar aimed to align African volleyball standards with global performance benchmarks through structured skill development.
