Two police officers were killed and 10 individuals injured in a head-on collision between a tuk-tuk and a 14-seater matatu near Lunga-Lunga on March 4, 2019. The accident occurred at 8:45 am, according to local authorities.
Matuga OCPD Joel Chesire confirmed that investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash. The deceased officers' remains were transported to Coast General Hospital for further handling.
