Baldev Singh Chager, co-driven by Ravi Soni in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 10 R4, secured victory at the KCB Kajiado Rally, clinching the lead in the Kenya National Rally Championship (KNRC).

Chager dominated the event, winning four of five stages to maintain an unchallenged lead throughout. His winning time of 1:30.44 hours surpassed second-place finishers Manvir Baryan and Drew Sturrock, who posted a 32-second deficit in their Skoda Fabia R5.

KCB Bank Kenya Kajiado Branch Manager Dickson praised the competition's intensity, stating, "This year's KCB rally series showcases exceptional driver skill and highlights motorsport's growing impact in Kenya." The event was flagged off by Kajiado County Governor Joseph Ole Lenku and KCB Regional Business Manager Dorothy Rono.

Defending champion Carl "Flash" Tundo finished third, acknowledging Chager's superior performance. "I was thoroughly beaten by Chager and Manvir," Tundo admitted. Chager celebrated the win, noting, "The Evolution was faultless today - everything went as planned."

Of the 27 starters, only 14 completed the 33km Andy's Corner stage, which eliminated several competitors due to mechanical failures. The Western Kenya Motor Club will host the next KNRC round in April.
