Gospel singer Bahati and his wife Diana Marua have publicly addressed cyber-bullying targeting their family, citing ongoing tensions with former record label EMB members.

"The individuals attacking Diana are the same ones who targeted me, prompting my response," Bahati stated during an interview with Kiss FM’s Chito Ndhlovu on the Maloko show.

The couple faced online harassment after Mr Seed, a former EMB associate, disclosed that Bahati had his wife Nimo Gachuiri arrested. Bahati clarified he avoids engaging with "small brands" making allegations.

Despite the controversy, Bahati emphasized his financial investment in supporting artists under his EMB label, stating, "I have the truth. My role as a label head isn't about profit."

Diana Marua defended her husband’s personality, noting, "Bahati has always been playful. We've maintained our fun and connection since our relationship began."
