On August 10, 2019, veteran comedian Daniel Ndambuki, also known as Churchill, visited Governor John Krop Lonyang'apuo in West Pokot county ahead of a live recording of the NTV comedy show.
During the visit, Churchill captured an inside look at the Governor's official residence, showcasing a palatial house under construction.
"This is his residence in Kapenguria... it's a beautiful place," Churchill said in the clip, adding, "Now you see why wazungus walikatalia huku. This is very nice."
Governor Lonyangapuo, known for his comical remarks, noted that West Pokot is the place to invest in, especially for stressed people in Nairobi.
"West Pokot is the place to rest in. If you want a good house where you can sleep and end your worries, come and invest here," he said.
Published on July 31, 2019, the video has since become a sensation among Kenyan netizens, offering a glimpse into the Governor's lavish residence.
