KKR Appoints Goldman Sachs Veteran to Lead Asia-Pacific Strategy

KKR & Co Inc has named Kate Richdale to oversee strategy and business development across its Asia-Pacific operations, according to the U.S. private equity firm's announcement Monday.

Richdale previously led investment banking activities for the Asia-Pacific region at Morgan Stanley before joining KKR. Her role will involve supporting deal sourcing for the firm's regional investments.

The former Goldman Sachs Group Inc chairman of investment banking for Japan did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Goldman Sachs regarding the move.
