ICT students from seven Kenyan universities demonstrated cutting-edge applications for office management and resource optimization during the USIU-Africa Innovation and Hackathon Day in March 2019.

The event, held at United States International University Africa, provided a platform for participants to pitch tech solutions to potential investors and employers. Competitors included institutions such as Strathmore University, Dedan Kimathi University, and Africa Nazarene University.

Among the showcased innovations were digital tools for office space reservations, student recreational platforms, and integrated resource management systems. USIU highlighted these developments in a statement, emphasizing the forum's role in fostering technological entrepreneurship.

Top-performing projects received recognition through trophies and six-month incubation opportunities with technology firms, underscoring the event's focus on practical innovation and industry collaboration.
