Former Kenya Police CID chief Ndegwa Muhoro is under scrutiny for constructing high-value apartments along Thika Road, a development coinciding with ongoing investigations into his alleged role in the 2019 Tatu City land scandal involving over Ksh 8 billion.

A Facebook post by blogger Cyprian Nyakundi shared images of the construction site, accusing Muhoro of criminal activities. The post stated, "This massive building behind Homeland Hotel along Thika Road is being constructed by thief, murderer, and corrupt policeman Ndegwa Muhoro. He once tried to steal Tatu City land in conjunction with Nahashon Nyaga, Vimal Shah, and Steve Mwagiru. Where did he get the money? Meanwhile functional alcoholic and thief beyond measure Uhuru Kenyatta appointed him as an ambassador. The revolution is coming!"

Muhoro's alleged misconduct during his tenure as CID boss has drawn repeated criticism. The Tatu City land controversy remains a focal point of public and media attention, with ongoing investigations into the transactions involving multiple individuals.

The 2012 copyright notice accompanying the original post underscores the long-standing nature of these allegations, which continue to resurface in public discourse.
