Real Madrid's pre-season woes continued on Tuesday with a 1-0 loss to Tottenham in Munich, marking their third defeat in four warm-up games.
German midfielder Tony Kroos was candid in his assessment of the team's performance, stating, "Our defeat was well deserved. It's true that we're not quite in good shape."
The only goal of the game came courtesy of Harry Kane, who scored a deft finish after pouncing on a disastrous pass by Marcello after 22 minutes.
Despite being humiliated 7-3 by Atletico Madrid last week, Real Madrid were able to thank goalkeeper Keylor Navas for preventing a heavier defeat against an enterprising and aggressive Spurs team.
