Former K24 anchor Karen Karimi has been left to navigate a particularly difficult month, one that she describes as one of the most challenging of the year.

Tragedy struck on November 29th, when a drunk man took the life of her sister, leaving Karen with nightmares of that fateful day.

Reflecting on her personal losses, Karen shared that she had lost her elder sister immediately after she was born, and her father passed away when she was just 17 years old.

Now, at the age of 30, Karen has been left with only her brothers and mother to hold dear, after the loss of her only other surviving sister at the age of 28.
