Shaffie Weru, a veteran radio presenter, has secured a new role as programmes controller at Homeboyz Radio, marking a swift return to the airwaves after being shown the door at Lion's Place just a month ago.
With an impressive 14-year tenure at Kiss FM under his belt, Shaffie Weru hosted the popular Big Breakfast Show alongside Kalekye Mumo and later with Adelle Onyango.
Adelle Onyango's departure from Kiss FM in June 2019, after seven years, was reportedly a result of a decision by Radio Africa's top boss, Patrick Quarcoo.
