July 30, 2019, marked a significant day for Wasafi Records as Babu Tale, the driving force behind the company, addressed the recent turmoil surrounding the management of the company's artistes.

Following the resignation of two artiste managers, Mbosso and Harmonize, and the subsequent speculation about the future of the company's artistes, Babu Tale took to social media to set the record straight.

According to Babu Tale, the contract between WCB and its artistes is clear: 'Mkataba wa WCB haumkatazi msanii kuondoka' (The WCB contract does not prevent an artist from leaving).

However, Babu Tale emphasized that certain clauses in the contract are non-negotiable, and he intends to hold the artistes accountable to them.

Regarding Rayvanny's contractual situation, Babu Tale clarified that the artiste is free to work with whomever he pleases, including collaborating with other artistes and going on tour.

It is clear that Babu Tale is committed to maintaining the integrity of Wasafi Records and its artistes, and his recent statement serves as a reminder of the company's commitment to its artistes and the music industry as a whole.
