Kenya has been grappling with the loss of several high-profile leaders to cancer in the past two weeks, including Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore, Honorable Ken Okoth, and Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso.
As the country mourns the loss of these leaders, city pastor Godfrey Migwi has called on Kenyans to pray against cancer, which he describes as a 'monster' that is 'robbing our society without any mercy.'
According to Migwi, the government should consider providing free treatment for cancer patients in both public and private hospitals.
He also emphasized the importance of vigilance by regulatory bodies, such as the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBs), in allowing products for human consumption that are safe and do not contribute to the spread of cancer.
By taking these measures, Migwi believes that the number of cancer patients can be reduced.
