Jose Mourinho Still Searching for Right Opportunity ¶
Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been out of work since December 2018 and is still searching for the right opportunity.
Speaking with Sky Sports News on July 30, 2019, Mourinho hinted at what he's looking for in his next job.
"This is basically the first time I have time to think, the first time I am in Setubal at the end of July or beginning of August in more than 20 years," Mourinho noted.
Mourinho, who has been linked with jobs in Italy, Germany, and the Premier League, admitted that he needs to be "patient" with his next move.
"The most difficult thing for me is saying 'no' to the possibilities," Mourinho stressed.
"I had to work, because, inside of me, I [always] have that impulse of wanting to work. [If] I have an opportunity to work, [I want to say] 'let's work'. To say 'no' is very, very, very, very difficult," Mourinho said.
Mourinho remains focused on getting a job in one of the top five European leagues, including the Premier League, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A, and La Liga.
Earlier, it was reported that Jose Mourinho had reportedly rejected an £88 million offer to become the next Guangzhou Evergrande's next manager.
