Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi was involved in a confrontation at a party in Ibiza, Spain, on a recent night out.
According to reports, the 32-year-old footballer was attacked by a random man during the incident, which occurred while he was on summer holiday with his family.
Messi, who helped Argentina win the bronze medal at the 2019 Copa America in Brazil, was reportedly escorted out of the party by security guards after the altercation.
It is unclear what led to the fight, but Messi was said to have been absolved of any wrongdoing.
Barcelona is set to kick off their 2019-20 La Liga campaign with a trip to Athletic Bilbao in mid-August, after a preseason campaign that included a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea and a 2-0 win over Vissel Kobe.
