July 30, 2019 - Diamond Platnumz manager Babu Tale has quashed reports that WCB signee Harmonize is now bigger than his boss Diamond Platnumz musically.
Speaking to Wasafi FM, Tale emphasized that Harmonize's success is largely dependent on Diamond's approval of his projects.
"Harmonize's projects must be approved by Diamond Platnumz. Before he releases a song, it must be cleared by Diamond. The WCB contract does not allow artists to leave without a valid reason," Tale said.
He added that he is happy to see Harmonize and Diamond competing, but questioned whether Harmonize has the same level of creativity as Diamond.
"I am happy to see Harmonize and Diamond competing, but I ask myself, does Harmonize have the same level of creativity as Diamond?" Tale said.
Harmonize has been making waves in the music industry with numerous collaborations with West African artists, including DJ Neptune, Yemi Alade, and Burna Boy.
Despite Harmonize's growing success, Tale believes that Diamond is still the bigger artist.
"Diamond Platnumz is proud of Harmonize's success, and I believe he is proud of the fact that he made Harmonize who he is today," Harmonize said in a statement.
Tale also revealed that they are considering hiring a private doctor for Diamond due to his busy schedule.
