On July 30, 2019, news broke that singer Jovial had parted ways with Otile Brown's label, JustinLove Music, after a highly publicized collaboration.

According to reports, Otile Brown had invested heavily in Jovial, even purchasing a car for her personal and professional use. However, the partnership ultimately ended due to undisclosed differences.

Jovial has since clarified her situation, stating that Otile Brown was the one who ended their contract prematurely.

She also clarified her current management arrangement with Hailemind Entertainment, saying, "David Guoro, the CEO of Hailemind Entertainment, is just my manager. I don’t intend to be signed anywhere."
