On July 29, 2019, a disturbing incident occurred on the London Underground, where a Chelsea fan was pushed off a train by another passenger due to repeated chants.

The fan, who was enthusiastically chanting 'Chelsea, Chelsea,' was shoved out of the carriage just before the doors closed on the Central Line service at St Paul's station.

His girlfriend, who was visibly upset, confronted the pusher, saying, 'What are you doing, you idiot?' She then promised her boyfriend, 'I'll get off at the next stop.'

The video, which appears to have been taken prior to Chelsea's pre-season friendly match against Reading on Sunday, sparked a mixed reaction on social media.

While some commentators praised the pusher, others expressed concern that the incident could have had a more severe outcome.

This is not the first time Chelsea fans have been involved in such an incident. In 2015, four fans were convicted after a black commuter was pushed off a Metro carriage in Paris, with the fans shouting racist slurs.
