Tip Tip leader Kalembe Ndile has made it clear that the party will not support Deputy President William Ruto in the 2022 presidential election.
Speaking to the press, Kalembe Ndile stated, "Sisi ndani ya Tip Tip kwenye Jubilee tunataka kusema kuwa hatutamuunga mkono Naibu Rais William Ruto kwenye ndoto ya kuwania urais,"
Tip Tip is one of the parties that formed an alliance with Jubilee in the 2017 general election. Jubilee had a pre-election pact with President Uhuru Kenyatta to support Ruto in the 2022 election.
However, following President Uhuru's decision to form a coalition with Raila Odinga, Ruto's supporters have been expressing concerns that the pact may be compromised.
Within Jubilee, two factions have emerged, one supporting Ruto and the other opposing him.
