Kenyan boxer Morris Okolla, also known as 'Hercules' by his fans, is set to face Ghana's Ebenezer Tetteh in a Commonwealth eliminator bout on August 10th at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, Ghana.
Okolla, a 37-year-old southpaw heavyweight boxer, will be making a second entry into the ring after his defeat to Richard Harrison Lartey in December last year for the WBO Africa heavyweight title.
Okolla's opponent, Tetteh, is a former World Boxing Organization (WBO) Africa heavyweight champion who beat Burkinabe Boniface Kabore in 2017 to win the title.
The fight was previously scheduled for August 3 but was pushed to two days later, August 10, after Tetteh suffered a left hand injury during sparring.
Okolla is confident of a win in Ghana, having studied his opponent's fighting style and mastered a way to handle him in the ring.
Okolla currently has a standing record of 11 wins through knockouts (KO) and three loses in his 14 professional fights, two of which were in Russia.
Tetteh, on the other hand, is on a winning streak of 19 professional fights and is coming into the bout on the backdrop of seizing a world title this year.
