On Sunday, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) apprehended Francis Muse Liseche alias Moi/President in connection with a brutal attack caught on camera.
The incident occurred in Shinyalu, Kakamega County, where the suspect was seen hacking a man with a machete in public, allegedly over a stolen chicken. The victim succumbed to excessive bleeding.
Three other suspects, including the owner of the chicken, have also been taken into custody. They are Evans Lichoti Ashihundu (34), Agapitus Ingosi Ang'uswa (43), and Reuben Smith Shitambasi (48).
The four suspects are expected to appear in court on Monday.
